Our
Mission
The mission of the Wesleyan Church of Hamburg is to glorify God, together:
- growing in Christ,
- serving His world and
- inviting others to know Him.
Our CallWe believe that God has called us as a church to continue the ministry of Jesus to the underchurched of the Southtowns.
Our Values
Worship God! Above all, we desire to glorify
God. We desire for Him to renew our hearts and to reach others, as He is
honored in our worship.
Depend on God! We will base our ministries on
the truth of the Bible and conduct our work with dependent prayer for God's
wisdom and provision.
Love the Lost! God loves lost people and wants
us to love them also. We will spend time, energy, money and passion to
be partners with Him to communicate Christ in ways that people can understand
and accept.
Server Others Together! Every follower of Jesus
is gifted and called to serve people. Our pastoral staff is called to mobilize
and support those who are "on the front lines," by teaching and training.
Build Families! Recognizing that God designed
the family, we will seek to create an environment for the healing, health
and support of people and their families.
Grow Together! God desires that we grow individually
through face-to-face relationships with other disciples. We will encourage
small groups and ministry teams to foster these relationships through prayer,
Bible study, support, accountability and ministry.
