This team plays the part of host/hostess for individuals who are being baptized. Team members help in greeting and directing participants, as well as providing towels for the baptism. This is a unique opportunity to be a source of encouragement as we celebrate the acknowledgement of Christ in the lives of these people.
Vision
We hope to provide spiritual support, and share in the joy, as individuals respond formally to their calling from God.
Schedule
Varies, throughout the year (determined by requests for baptisms). The Baptism Team meets about ВЅ hour before service time to greet the baptism candidates, prepare towels and pray.
Opportunities
Greet participants as they arrive and prepare for baptism and assist them following their baptism.
