This team ministers to the congregation by preparing communion elements for services on Communion weekends, as well as for certain holidays and special services.
Vision
To expand the Communion Team to ensure that the Communion experience will continue to offer a meaningful expression of our personal connection to God.
Schedule
Members of this team are on a rotating schedule, making their scheduled commitment a few times a year. (1 1/2 to 2 hours, two or three times a year).
Communion is normally scheduled:
First weekend of every month
- First weekend of every month
- Good Friday, Thanksgiving Eve, New Year's Eve
Opportunities
With the anticipated growth in our church, this ministry will be in need of additional partners in the following areas:
- Preparation of elements
- Replenishing elements between services
- Clean-up, following services
