This is a ministry of support and encouragement for those who are contemplating, going through, or who have already gone through a Divorce. It addresses the practical, emotional and spiritual needs of both committed Christians and spiritual seekers from a Biblical and Faith perspective. Each meeting includes a 45 minute video presentation, followed by small group discussion, where individuals can integrate the video teaching with their current situation and receive perspective and support from others who are and who have suffered the same loss. Divorce Care promotes forgiveness and reconciliation when possible and strength to go on if not.


Vision

Our goal is to be a resource center for the Southtowns community and for other churches' that wish to establish ministries to help the divorced and those contemplating divorce.


Schedule

Monday evenings in Fall thru Spring from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm (13 week sessions).


Opportunities

We are seeking facilitators who have a gift for listening to others, and who have Gifts of Mercy and Encouragement. Those who have a passion for comforting hurting people or who have dealt with this loss themselves are especially effective.
