The mission of MOPS International is to nurture all mothers of preschoolers by meeting their distinct needs for the glory of Jesus Christ. MOPS is a ministry to moms, both churched and unchurched, at an especially vulnerable time in their lives. The meetings are an energizing time of nurturing and spiritual feeding that all moms need. The format includes a regular group meeting with our MOPS mentor, who provides Biblically based teachings related to womanhood, marriage, child rearing and family relationships. You will also enjoy fun and fellowship while learning a new craft at each meeting.
The Moppets, another service of MOPS, provides childcare for pre-school children (infant to pre-K), with planned activities that will contribute to the child's social growth through friendships and group participation; physical and creative development through games, crafts and exercise; and spiritual enrichment through Christian love and Bible stories. There is a small fee for membership in MOPS, with confidential scholarships available to the moms with financial need.
